Reflections

On this day five years ago my husband and I were married in Lake Tahoe. Reflecting back I must say these have been some of the best years of my life. It is not often people get to marry their best friend. I am so very thankful. And just think in 45 years we will be celebrating our 50th! Love you more than words could say!

Galaxy

This store was super cool, it was called Galaxy. It is located in the Downtown North Little Rock Argenta area. Had a blast just looking at all the old stuff. I really wish I could have purchase something, I just do not know where I would put it. My next house will have an antique room for sure.

My Mom

Here as of late I have taken special notice to the differences between myself as a mother vs others. I always thought that what I did for my children was the same as what any mother would do. There have been things in my life that have brought it to my attention that this is not necessarily a truth.

Today is the day that everyone tells there Mom how great and wonderful she is and how she is the best. I have no poem or rhyming words. For me there are truly no words for what I feel for my mom.

I am very thankful to have a Mom that set a standard for me. My Mom is a real live Momma bear that is protective, loving, supportive, caring, willing to do whatever it takes, dedicated, gentle, creative, resilient, and hardworking mother. Mom, you have always been there for me, ups and downs and all that stuff in between. Everything that is good about me is because of you. You might think that I didn't listen or that I didn't understand but I did and I thank you for never giving up on me.

Beyond all of your Mom qualities you some how mange to be just an amazing Grandmother to my children. They simple adore you! We love you today and everyday. I hope you have wonderful Mother's Day!

What is deliberate Randomness?

I was asked this question today when I requested a form to have my blogs look upgraded. And I thought to myself  "I had honestly hoped that that the name would speak for itself ". Nonetheless, it's my personal blog of random things I find interesting that I deliberately talk about, mostly: Fashion, Loves, Life, Family, and Friends. More than anything it's fun to do and it has helped me come out of my shell (for lack of a better phrase). Even-so this question sent my brain on a paradoxical journey. This I say because at first glance it appears that it's all me but the truth is there is another person that contributes to all of this.

It started with a single thought: How did I get here? My immediate thought was "my husband". He has always been so inspiring, by way of allowing my thoughts and interest to wonder. Never does he say that I can not do something, be someone, or go to some far away place (physically and mentally). When I say " I think I want to start a blog." He says "Great, you should!"

I would like to say thank you to my husband as he is my biggest fan! I have to honestly say that the person I am today has so much to do with the person he is for me. I have discovered so much about who I am from the ability to be myself. The ability to openly be different without the stares that outsiders give. The ability to see and be the person that has always been in me.

Life is a roller coaster but who better to take the ride with then your best friend! The person who sees you for who you are but knows and understands the person you aspire to be.

Love Ray-Bans mostly because they are uni-sex and so I get to wear my husbands sun glasses.
